Create 3 Christmas Cards using the new Distress Embossing Powder.   

 

Glitter and Pearl Christmas Card Workshop ($20)

This is one of my new workshops which uses Design Adhesives, Glitter and Perfect Pearls.  Have some fun creating 3 Christmas Cards and be prepared to go home a little sparkly, as the glitter has a way of ending up on your face!

Just love the Fancy Flourish stamp.  You can always tell my favourite products, as they have a way of turning up regularly in my workshops.

Here are the Workshops Naomi and I will be teaching at the Mawson Centre on the 21st November.  This will be the final workshop until 2010.

The morning workshop (10.45am - 12.45pm) is a Travel Suit Case Album created by Lorraine Paton. When booking into the workshop you will need to advise which theme you would like to do, either World Traveler or Life's a Beach.

 

The afternoon workshop (1.45pm - 3.45pm) is a Distress Embossed Xmas Card workshop created by me.

Adelaide Craft and Quilt Fair - November 5 - 9

Thank you to those of you who have popped in to say hi at the Kaszazz stand.  If you are planning to attend tomorrow or Sunday, here is a picture of our Circle Cards.  You will need to get to our stand quickly though - we sold out the packs within 20 minutes of the fair opening today!  If you do miss out, don't despair, we would love to show you the cards at a Free Make and Take Demo.

Mawson Centre Workshop - 24th October 2009

In the workshop pictured below you will create a double page layout using the blending tool and the gorgeous Fancy Flourish stamp.  There is also lots of punching and a hint of Ice Stickles to help make the butterflies sparkle.  If you would like to bring photos you will need 1 landscape photo @ 10x15cm and 2 landscape photos cropped to 7.5x10cm (or 4 photos cropped to 7.5 x 5cm).  Black and White photos work well with this layout.    Please email me to book your seat by no later than Friday 16th October.

Here is a peek of the Scrapbook Double Page layout we are doing at the Mawson Centre. You will be learning Chalking techniques including 'Magic Stamping'. The layout is obviously a girly one! BYO Scrapbook kit, including Supertape, pencil, ruler, scissors etc.

Thank you to those of you who popped into our stand at the Wayville Showgrounds yesterday.  It was great meeting you all.  Our workshops kept us busy throughout the day and we hope you all left feeling inspired and thinking about incorporating our techniques into your next project.

Scrapbooking, Vintage Shopping, Stamping etc.

It's been a little too long since I last blogged!!  I have the best intentions, however that isn't always enough.

I sometimes wonder where time goes, however when I start to think about what I have achieved during the past day, the last week or even the past month, it soon becomes clear that the reason why it is already August, is because we all seem to fill each hour, day, month with so many things.  I still like to believe that having a perfectly balanced life is achievable, and it is always an included item on my never ending goal list! 

When I do manage to sneak a little free time, one of the things I love to do is Vintage Shopping (a trendy word for second hand shopping)!! The Red Cross Shop on Shephards Hill Road Blackwood is one of my favourites.  It has several rooms (like little caves) filled with all sorts of treasures, you just never know when you will find that special something!  This is where I purchased an as new denim Jacket and had lots of fun altering it, while in the company of a couple of friends.  I love the colours in the fabric and think they would make a gorgeous scrapbook paper or perhaps I might try to see if I can recreate it with stamps!!
